*Tribute* Chuck versus The Countdown- "All the faves here."

*NOTE: This article was written sometimes before January 27th, the final day for Chuck broadcast (two hours finale), apparently I still have no idea that this one even exists in piles of scrapped idea... But the article still works-- fifty nine days after the final run of Chuck, and I feel this great urge to put them available in tribute to this great show which inspires me to blogged.*

With the final EPIC finale of Chuck coming within less than twelve hours... I think it's suitable to finally reveal a guest of surprise for the final entry of Chuck Versus The Countdown-- and here's the winner, the finale entry of this series of articles will be ALL about fave episodes from such an amazing five years of journey with Chuck! (Which I must added, has been a game changer for all of us).

So... without any further due, this article will be somewhat selecting five favourite episode from all these very eighty nine awesome episodes...  and to make it a little fun along with this, I will also contend the list of the honorable mentions... So, get ready... as we introduce the fifth winner for the all the faves episode out there!

5. Chuck versus The Santa

Of course! How could one forget such a brilliant episode, that one that actually involves ALL the characters in one amazing plot! Reflecting how Chuck always find itself plentiful with ideas... and of course, remind us how awesome one bracelet, a robbery, conspiracy, Big Mike's cousin can all be mixed up... and gave such an amazing product of innovative, laughs & reminds us how awesome could holiday episode be!

4. Chuck versus Phase Three

Another inspiring episode that eventually inspires the renowned "Emmy 4 Yvonne" movement! And personally, will always be Yvonne Strahovski's finest hour! As Sarah Walker takes it personal in order to bring Chuck safe... mysteries about wedding begin to worn out (thanks to Morgan)... and together Yvonne delivers one of the most emotional & excellent performance I've on screen. As tear (I mean, real tears) fall from behind, I wouldn't be surprised if one day she will get an Emmy! Long live Giant Blonde She Male!

3. Chuck versus Bo

Well... you'll probably seen someone who stars themselves before in the show... (I mean we got Stan lee back in Santa Suit), but THIS! Well... this is one of those episodes where I really love, it's not just cameo role. But the producers took the use of Bo Derek, and turn her into the plot device herself! Such a strong and hilarious performance from both the casts & Ms. Derek herself! Even though the ending would have lead us to such an unexpected point...

2. Chuck versus The First Date

Well, the first premiere episode is always a quite like a mini-pilot... setting up what the rest of the seasons is gonna looked like. And in this case, the producers had did quite a good job on the first impression of Chuck already! The episode proves to be a brilliant in both writing, acting & directing. As the plot gets tense with actions, but integrates well with probably, uh: such a romantic moments for Chuck & Sarah! The episode marks the first driving force to me... and it always kills me when i watched the scene when they looked over each other in their "First Date"!

And the winner is...

CHUCK VERSUS THE COLONEL!

HOW CAN ONE FORGET THIS!!! (I really mean it, dear readers) It's already quite exciting itself just to talked about this episode! The best, blasted opening for one episode, the episode that's just so passionate, full of actions, love... and the one that truly reach me through Nerdvana! The one & all, superbly written, superbly directing & superbly acting... I will have no doubt if people will always be stunning when they watched this episode in years to come!

And that... was pretty much the five favorite episodes for me... If there's one thing I shall be doing after January 27th 8/7C, it's gonna be rewatching & reliving all these moments altogether again! However, it must be noted, that all Chuck episodes are all but amazing-- and here's some of the honorable mentions who nearly make it (and still I will always enjoy the moment for years to come)!

Honorable mentions (still equally fun, so you should take a look at them anyway. :P)

  1. Chuck versus Pilot- How can we even forget this!?! The best pilot I have seen in the world, brilliant execution!
  2. Chuck versus The Delorean- As much as I hated how Morgan spent on such a crap Delorean, the episode was brilliantly fun to see Mr. Lichtenstein & Cop Face strikes back
  3. Chuck versus Other Guy- Damn... what could be better than the demise of our favorite hated character for the year! And "shut & kiss me" will always relive in me!
  4. Chuck versus Tom Sawyer- The one that really touches to all Nerd hearts, and brilliantly connecting the pop-cultural references!
  5. Chuck Versus The Anniversary- Who could have though, it was decent, full of loved... and Linda Hamilton just rocks the ending!
And that was... "All the faves", last entry for Chuck Versus Countdown, and probably gonna be penultimate entry before the review of finale tomorrow! Thanks for tuning in, it has been brilliant five years of Chuck, that show changed everything I had ever know, make me met many reliable comrades, taught me to embrace my inner nerd... or was it always stay in the car? Which reminds me to begged you all, dear reader: for those in US or those whose available, be sure to tune in for the finale of Chuck! And it airs back to back!!! How could you miss that? Have fun with the finale... my last advice for that could be:

"Just sit back... and enjoy the ride"... :)

Ps... before I leave, just wanna present you with one final video, compliments of Matt Barber- directors of Chuck! Happy to say the bloopers for this season is finally out!

Chuck versus The Countdown- "Time just flies too fast"

"Time just flies by too fast!"

The thought had unfortunately, exclaimed me over for the past days & weeks! Almost as the word "Nobody does it like Chuck" (which dear readers, I must added: still sticked in my head until now)! So... after four entries of Chuck versus The Countdown, we have finally reaching the penultimate edition of this very series at last! With Friday approaching us closed... (by every timezones I must added). Are you ready for the finale!?!

Five years ago, Chuck started out as a one of the most promising comedy of all time, with it's ability to blend it the pop-cultural reference... and actually use them to the fully extent. I had said this before, gonna say now, and will always say... Chuck had always stand out amongst those shows I seem in year! And that... in the end, I never regret ever, in any single of days wondering-- that I may have done anything wrong about this. It was simply, one of the best investment one could do with his life.

So... what to expect tomorrow as the end is approaching, I can not answer you all. For I am as thrilled as much as you, looking how the producers will wrap up such a gifted shows like this! Sneak peeks & some spoilers maybe around... doesn't really matter now that you're watching them or not. What I'm asking, will be short & simple: tomorrow: for those who are available tomorrow night, tune to NBC... or to any device that could hooked up the streaming servers or sites... and just sit back, and enjoy the ride. Probably one final ride, and what the producers have declared: "a love letter from the casts to the fan". So today's entry will be short & simple, but don't forget to tune in tomorrow night.

And meanwhile: don't forget to check the final ultimate edition of Chuck versus The Countdown, back to back with final surprises for y'all! And also (*sniff*), my last ever review for Chuck! Thank you for tuning in all these three days, or all the articles since the blog has been launched. My final #Chuck versus The Countdown materials I have been preparing, and the reviews for the series finale-- shall be dedicate to you all, #Chucksters.

Chuck versus The Countdown- " Nobody does it like Chuck 2.0"

"Nobody just does it like him!"

Somehow, this quote just stuck in my head after the last three days ago. When I have published the entry with the same name... but of course, the emotional run down have eventually prevailed over me. Making me compelled to compiled a new entry-- except in a same name... So, what will you be expect in this new post & the same name here. We'll take a look back for all these five years of the amazing relationship that's been making us stick to the screen whenever their adventures premiere! Yes indeed, dear readers-- we'll be taking a look with the relationship of the awesome Chuck Bartowski & Sarah Walker!

So... what's the best way to describe their relationship!?!
a) Is it because of their sweetness when they're together?
b) Is it because of their devotion for the lives of each other?
c) Or is it because of all their adventures which they have been together all these years!?!

I'm sure, dear readers-- that you must already crack the secrets to all these answers by now!?! So... which are the answers to this... question? The answer would be quite simple here, as it's not one of these either answer-- but on the other hand, it's ALL of these answers summed up! Which gives such an incredible charm, something an unknown force that keeps draws us to them. Because of their aspects of love, it wasn't really some type of untainted love-- but rather a pure force of love & devotion to one another as the series progressed through each episodes! And inevitably, it's their love that makes Chuck such an one incredible kind of it's genre! The ability to set up a romance which is easily accessible to anyone. That one type of show that keeps you really
plug to the screen, and then smile so happily when you see them kisses, saving each other , or seeing them resolve through each obstacles-- only to emerge stronger than ever. And then, there's the stories & how their love progressed through the series, how their love are being created cleverly- which in the end was worth all of it... just to see them flirting to each other, seeing them finally kisses embracingly, or let alone just see how they LOOK at each other! (The looks, which I must confess- is pronely the best looks I've seen in screen in years!)

Finally, it was how their stories of romances are being brilliantly created as I have mention to you before-- from two people-- who had never met each other, and end up trusting each other, as both of them are trying to step out of the shadows. The shadow of their fallen love before, and inevitably- their efforts to cope each other. Which eventually prove to be an asset, as they eventually make it out of the shadow-- and through that, end up being closer than ever. As both of them struggling to open their hearts once again. And as the series, the episodes has progressed further-- the missions. And their trust which already has been growing, keep growing even more up to the point when eventually, that trust has make them learn to relied to each other in various points of their lives, their mission, and the relationship itself, by the third season finale.., all had finally paid off when our hero and heroine finally acknowledge their love & trust for each other.

And just when I thought... how the heck are they gonna continue here, Chuck continues to demonstrate why this show stands for all these years- and even though they have confess the love, the producers have managed to surprise me once again with such a brilliant constructions of the character from this point... No! Dear readers, their love hasn't even bored me for just one episode, instead I (and hopefully you too) just feels their love are strengthened every episode! How they became even more devote to each other. Readily prepare to save each other all the time, and their love just reach the point- that they realize, they will never BE normal couple, and instead took that to the greatest extent! For example, who could have forget episodes like Chuck versus Phase Three, where Sarah who travel to other sides of the world readied to prepared to save her love, even doing any means necessary to find Chuck... (which ultimately earned her the name: Giant Blonde She Male!)... or wad it when Chuck readily to break any rules in CIA book to save Sarah from the dangerous poison that threatens to his love! It is eventually, all these combinations-- which once put together, ultimately forms the series which we have watched ever since every Friday! So... in the end, it wouldn't be surprise if anyone (including me) would proclaimed -

"Nobody just does it like Charah"!

And hence, don't forget to catch the two hours series finale of Chuck this Friday 8/7C... which should be the very last time you might see them! (Unless we have Chuck movie, that is- wouldn't be wonderful!) So, with no doubts, clear your schedule on Friday, sit back... and enjoy the episode which the casts proclaimed: "the love letter from us to the fan"!

Chuck versus The Countdown- 'Chuck versus the Movie!?!"

"I genuinely believe that our fan base, if given the opportunity to spend $5 on an hour-and-a-half Chuck movie to buy online and keep, I think they would. That would be a really fun thing to do."- Zachary Levi

Last night in a very Chuck-ish discussion with several fellow Chuck fans, a very certain nice peeps on Twitter you should have follow, dear readers- @MrCHUCKology @RedDesilets @MarcusBabe @ChristinaRuseva, and me engaged in quite an interesting discussion over Chuck's fate as three days are left before the premiere of the series finale, it was then until somehow-- we have reach a certain conclusion for the discussion- we want Chuck movie.

And indeed, like Zac has proposed in his interview with USA today two days ago, wouldn't it be nice-- to have Chuck movie, where everybody pays some only five bucks to revisit the stories for the shows once again!?! For me... I wouldn't opt out such a chance, no matter HOW SLIGHT it is... because even the TV series will be conclude this Friday, I see no reasons why Chuck fans- or the casts, would band up another one for time for another experience... wouldn't that be nice for the fans to reunite--> or the casts to reunite once again!?!

But of course, actions just speaks louder than words! To prove my words, one of the best example to explained over what Zac has proposed is the example of resurrection of 'Arrested Developments. A sitcom which was active between 03' and '06, and cancelled since then. On October 2, 2011, it was announced that there are plans for the show to return for nine or ten episode mini-series that will lead up to a feature-length film. However on November 18, 2011, it was confirmed that Netflix would exclusively license an unspecified number of new episodes for an early 2013 debut on its streaming video service. So, if you asked me what the prospects are, I would, in my opinion-- believe there's still likely the choice for Chuck movie. Not in the terms of the chance on the screen anymore, I mean-- but however as our good 'ol Zachary Levi has proposed, the options for online broadcasting is still possible. And it wouldn't cost too much in terms of the producers to stream the show. Which would have benefit the producers in term to save the necessary cost. And of course... we wouldn't mind if that mean we have to change the method for the viewer, am I right?

But... these are still some very speculations on the possibility for the movies, so... I myself still can't confirm not deny on such prospects. However, that doesn't mean, that we should give up for such a prospect, an opportunity for us to at least to reunite with the very how which I'm sure must have changed all of our lives! And don't forget to catch the two hours series finale, back to back. As the show takes us back to the very core principle of the show itself- Charah's relationship... So movies can still be there... what matters is: will you be there when the voice of nerdolution calls you?

Until then, cherish every seconds of the shows! And Viva La Nerdolution always!

Chuck versus The Countdown- "Shocking prospects, memories, and gratefulness'

So, how have you been... dear readers?

Four days before Chuck technically 'retires from the screen'... So, if you are reading this posts, don't forget to head over to your nearest Chuck community, tweet all the feelings you got, and most importantly... spare nothing, the end is closing up on all of us! So, there's no point of saving something for other occasion- if you're looking for the occasion-- then this is your occasion!

So, we're ninety six hours away before the two hours series finale finally visits us... as for me, it shall be a thrilling, and such a grief prospect for what is about to arrive in the next ninety six hours... But I have to admit... it has been an awesome ride.

I'm not gonna post much about what we're looking back, after all... we just have look back at the very pilot yesterday... So, I'm gonna give you guys a chance to relax the mind, and we'll discuss what has been happening so far for the past eleven episodes this season so far!

For me... the thought of knowing Chuck has come to an end in some several months ago was, to be honest: a shocking prospect one could have expected... My earliest thought I could recounted was like, "That very show I have been inhabit, along with such an uncountable fans--- is it really coming to an end?" And that was indeed a VERY shocking prospect for not just me, but the rest of the people on Twitter too... For that moment, I had to admit- it was like Big Mike tasting his Subway sandwich at last! But only... to be heartbroken, some hours later when NBC (under the leadership of Greenblatt *sigh*) declared that season five 'will be the final season' for the show. Let me recount that experience again... so now I was that happy Big Mike- about to taste the tasty Subway sandwich... only to have someone taken that away! And apparently, according to that time, it wasn't only me who shared that concern- that very shocking prospect that Chuck will be over! (Just imagine the freaking out face of our hero, Chuck Bartowski... and yeah, that was pretty much my face when I heard the news.

But as times of weeks & episodes progresses by... we were eventually confront with somewhat- a first pre-shocking prospect for the real end! And that was when were informed by the casts, crews, and producers of the imminent end of the filming of Chuck! And like when we were informed of that imminent end when we learn season five will be the final seasons... It was quite logical that me (and hence, the rest of Chuck fans) were suddenly gone on a bizarre series of the end, as if the real end of the world has come. I will be be honest to you (as you must have felt that too, dear readers), that the prospect of the ending has really put a lot of us to be more... "intimidated" with Kleenex more than ever! I saw many of tweets comes & goes by, and as you must have too, dear readers- it was really amazing to see all the tweets, suddenly coming from nowhere- and all the emotional, thank you, and reminder to all the memorable scenes quickly occupied all the spaces in my timeline tab! And from that moment... it was absolutely only love all around than ever, as all Chucksters came by, sending in all the tweets, comforting each others, talking & enjoying what Chuck has been offered for the past five years.

That will be always be an unforgettable memories for me, seeing all such tweets- as much as a words of people comform others and thank you the very show that has been entertain them for all these years.

It just makes me realize how grateful & happy I am to be include in such a community.

Chuck versus The Countdown- 'Nobody does it like Chuck'!

'Nobody did it like Chuck'.

So... dear readers, as part of the countdown to embrace the beginning. You have reach the third entry point for the collections of what I will be writing in honor of this very show which change OUR life. So, get ready to expect them for the next seven days. So... are you ready?

So.... what makes Chuck special...
a) was it an awesome vast who channeled out inner nerd?
b) was it a laugh & tears it had brought to we fans over the past five years?
c) was it the amazing & awesome community which it created over the years?
or, d) was it the the very show that change our life!?!

In my opinion, when facing with such question... Would not hesitate to answer... that the answer has been right in front all along. For the past five years, the show has prove to us that one sandwich, but with an uncountable
love- can help change things forever. Or the reactions within the Internet, how you could actually feel the air of excitement all around when new seasons, or episodes was about to premiered. So... with all of these together... what is it that finally allows us to channel & embrace our inner nerd?

It couldn't have been simply answered with just one entry of a blog, or how many pages in the blog. But personally, I felt one of the things that makes me realize how special of the show-- was the pilot to the show itself!

Even I had not been the fan of the show at the beginning, or misses the very pilot itself. The episode just always makes me smile, although the first episode I get to experience was Chuck versus The Sizzling Shrimp. But the pilot had reconfirmed-- that I have come to the right place.

I remember watching the pilot when I was on sixth grade, as the pilot was somehow on the rerun for the boring casual weekdays. And it was some weeks after I had first experience The Sizzling Shrimp, and still I have had no idea where this show come from except the catch of a kiss from Chuck versus The Truth (Best kiss on screen-- ever). I was at that time eager to look out for more Chuck.. as I haven't even remember the name of the show myself! (pretty embarrassed indeed, dear readers). And that was when, BAM! I suddenly saw the recognizable voice speaking to one of his friend-- and that, ladies & gentlemen, is when I had first encounter Chuck versus The Intersect aka. The Pilot!

The air of excitement quickly fills in as the show made the first impression introduce some type (of then sore loser, I know that's quite strong...) of a geek who makes '11 bucks an hour'! And see how shaken and the lose of confidence of that man. The show had projected, even some pity state over the character. But it was actually a sorrow for the character, and some sort of a eager to invite me (then viewer, sixth grader) to the very world that change my point of view for the nerds forever.

And then, the show introduces how coincidence could be lethal sometimes. By introducing another completely different character, late Bryce Larkin who stole the Intersect, and that was when somehow... air of twist had filled me again, I was like 'WT, what is he doing!?!'. And the next thing we know... we saw that sore loser geek, unfortunately happen to be 'CHUCK Bartowski' downloading loads of government secrets into his head. And how the show slowly explore the reaction of a life of Mr. Bartowski himself. Clever, for one of the points I love about Chuck was how clever he was constructed. Sometimes it doesn't take a hero to have to wear some sort of a strange costume, or a car, a jet, a boat bla bla bla. It just takes the gut to confront the fear, and just do it! That was what I like about that, it wasn't his courage that makes me appreciate him, but the thoughts to do the right thing even in his darkest hour. And how he simplistic he is, I mean he manages to connect viewers from there. Showing he wasn't really different from all of us, and that how easily we could connect. Because he displays happiness, sadness, and fear- just like us. But alas, he was the right one to do what Ben Parker had put it, 'Power comes with responsibility'.

And then BAM! Chuck Bartowski wasn't alone, it was apparent the government wouldn't really let their opportunity of retrieving their secrets go away. And that was when, we meet agent Sarah Walker of the CIA & Major (then) John Casey. And that was nice & interesting as we get to see how completely these two characters is, each operate with completely different method... but with the same idea: they're just totally dangerous good guys. One which I really wanna talk about here, Sarah Walker... because she, honestly has been one of the most powerful driving force for all the plots for the five seasons so far. And although we haven't know about the actor who portrays her, Yvonne Strahovski. I do consider her, that was a blasted opening debut for this Australian actress as we see her portraying characters of an agent whose force of lonely has turned her into a brutal seductive force of CIA. But that also has another side to the coin, I was absolutely enjoying by the thrilling prospect of how Miss Yvonne Strahovski had portray a character of some reckless personality, but allows the audience to see how the character was slowly put off guard, and how one character- Chuck Bartowski could really change her. Both Zachary Levi & Yvonne Strahovski had really execute their role well, introducing us into the prospect of chemistry waiting later to be explored in more episodes to come. It was a brilliant characters with brilliant actors who portrays it which helps create such a realistic chemistry. The one that makes us smile, laugh, excite & hoping for them. They have completely enter our mind even before the end of the episode, and all because of one force both Mister Levi & Miss Strahovski has produced- the force of chemistry & love.

And then there's Casey... which was another character interesting to explore. You could say Casey is such a brutal force, something you wouldn't even wanna mess about. But there was another interesting point there, beneath all that violence, was the desire to protect the innocence lives, and how much Casey would ready to sacrifice. And with that 'strong' personality, the pilot had create a brilliant set up for us to eager to learn more about Major John Casey!

And alas, this entry wouldn't be complete of how brilliant the scenes, the dialogues, and most importantly the ending. It was unexpected & such a twist of how the episode would play out. For me that time, that was absolutely fresh, innovative & unexpected for me. But beneath all of that amazes face, or the so romantic (which melts my heart, dear readers', something just tell me that:

"Nobody does it like Chuck."

Ps. If you're a Chucksters... please follow me at @gunthorn1138:

Chuck versus Bullet Train - "The End Is So Near You Can Taste It"

"The end is so near you can taste it..."

And so... I find that quote quite remarkable for what has happened in Chuck's universe, and how surprisingly fits to the feeling us, my dear reader. So, eighty nine episodes has passed, and with only two of them left to be aired back to back... Best word I could put for now is, "doubts".

After last week unexpected twist... that the very Sarah Walker, with no choice & surrounding with those who definitely want to kill her, goes on & happen to download the Intersect on her head. So... what does the episode mainly dealt this week? Or what could have been the theme for the episode this week... and as I have said before: it's all about 'doubts'.

The episode main point was the doubt of Sarah Walker, her confidence has clearly become shaken this time! Knowing what had happened to poor Morgan Grimes before her. And apparently, Chuck does share that fear too that it may have come to the point that Sarah would experience the symptom of the false Intersect. Alas... however, the episode does have marked many wonderful moments of Chuck & Sarah, who pleads each other to finally retire from the business & finally start the family! So... aside from that doubt, the producer does shown us some of nice moments of Chuck & Sarah together, although not much. But was able to satisfy me in some point. (I, myself is totally in with the moment that Chuck remarked 'Domo... Mrs. Arigato'!) I still feel horrible, as the episode focuses on Sarah doubts of Intersect as the Intersect keeps continuing to take hold of her mind. To be honest... that was one of those moments that I actually feel sad... and horrible to see, partly because we see how painful Sarah is struggle to dominate the Intersect & her love to protect Chuck even in her weakest state. I couldn't help but feel so pain & emotional as the episode progressed Though I have a good faith they will sort that out next week. (Which part of me still rejects that, lol)

But even in Charah's darkest hour... one character did emerge & show us why he is the 'best of NSA', as General Diane Beckmann had put it once upon a time! This week episode, has personally make me appreciate why John Casey is the best NSA you can find out there, and even though his episode (Chuck vs. The Kept Man was a bit under-expected by me, this week had mark a strong performance for him once again. As normally to all of us, dear reader, we would have been common that it was Chuck who would set the call... you could have put Chuck for another role too, as the mediator between the two worlds- spy & the 'Buy Morean' world! However this week, Adam Baldwin has also prove to me he could just fill that exact role Chuck Bartowski did. The episode has drawing him to the two points, his desire to keep his partner- Sarah Walker safe, and also his desire to keep his daughter- Alex McHugh safe as much as a father would do. Although his loyalty has been prove for both woman... it became apparent that John Casey was tested, first with his daughter taken in by Nicholas Quinn's 'people'. And his struggle to keep them safe, becoming commander to that RESCUE operation himself! He had demonstrate why he is still a brilliant comrade for Team Bartowski & also why anyone couldn't have been Alex's father better than him.

Another point which is a bit less... 'sad', was however the whole different point of what has been happening on that very Buy More, Burbank! First with Ellie trying to discover what has been behind Morgan's 'acceleration' to his 'life- ruining phase'... Although much with quite some resistance from our bearded friend. It was a good sub plot, one of those which really linked in to what had been happen to the spy world! Another point which I definitely felt was good was to include all the main supporting characters into the story! Bringing out Alex McHugh... and then with help from Casey attempting to save her by utilizing Morgan & Awesome to technically 'sniped for Alex'... Up to the big twist for the plot! So... we've been knowing that Jeffsters has been snooping around the very horrible, dangerous world of spies for quite sometimes! Despite some of us (including me) thinking that meddling over Carmichael Industries could have a potential disaster, the episode has prove to me that the statement is somewhat... wrong. It was nice to finally see them included in the plot, properly. To see them involve in something... out of Buy More finally. It was a pleasure to see them all convene for one single episode finally!

And all wouldn't have complete if I wouldn't talk about Nicholas Quinn... and how I thought he was quite. brilliant villain to that person I holds a grunt for him! To be honest, despite the fact that he is Chuck's last villain doesn't actually meant he is the best villain though. But the man does possessed quite a remarkable charisma of a villain, able to capturing it right in the face... and that you know, 'this man's intention is clearly carrying a bad intention'. Although he is quite a blasted villain whose motivation was only to acquire HIS own Intersect, I do like how he projects his villain identity, not as strong as Alexei Volkoff. But the man still remains cold, and calculated. And demonstrating this further of how he doesn't even express fear in the hardest situation of all. Despite everything... his plan, without any objected feeling to Mrs. Bartowski, and how he remains calm, cold, collected & hideous makes him one of that amazing & evilly villain we've had.

Which brought me to an end of this review... reminding us that we have unfortunately six days left before Chuck finally departs. So, do what you have to do, cherish every moment the show has brought, enjoying all the laughs & tears of what this show community has create. And that, I strongly object... don't say goodbye to Chuck, but rather say 'see you later'. But despite all of that *sigh*...

'The end is so near you can taste it!'

Recaps for Chuck tonight- "Second away from the last time"

Eighty first episode of Chuck is about to start in some... eleven hours according to my timezone. For me personally, knowing this will be second to the final time I will be publishing Chuck's recap. I feel your pain as much as it is my pain too! So this week's review will mark the first of the "countdown week" before the finale arrives next week... so let's try talk shop, shall we?

Last episode was quite a blast for me (even I was twenty hours late before I get the chance to watch the episode), it was promising & I realise how truthful Fedak & Schwartz are when they said; "this seasons is bringing it to the beginning". With Chuck earlier assume the duty of handler, the producer has introduce us t another aspect of Morgan's life, and Chuck's acceptance of being a leader of the Carmichael Industries & evolving into a finest of his kin. However, it must also be reminded how this season has transform one character from his lowest to highest once again. As you know, you're probably common with the "Frosted Tips brain melting phase" for our friend none other than Morgan Grimes... and since we already have Sarah's episode, Casey's episode... the episode proves to be a good set up point as Morgan confronts his past from "Frosted Tips affair" (as I would like to put it that way now, haha). The episode was another best yet... I honestly thought the episode is the best so far of this season! Bringing out Bo Derek and emphasizes her as a starting point as the team uncover their final nemesis: a certain guy who wants an Intersect for his own good; "Nicholas Quinn". So... are you ready for Team Bartowski for their not-so-much-one-last mission tonight?

Take a look with one of the best moments yet for this redemption & final confrontation of our best spy team!

And personally, this is my favorite moment for Chuck & Sarah... strongest performance of Zac & Yvonne since the wedding scene in "Chuck versus The Cliffhanger"!

And before proceeding to what to look forward tonight... I wanna summed up what had happen with Chuck community as Chuck producers deliver their emotional message thank you the fans for the five years... Take a look (courtesy for the scanned by @chucksarahmovie):

THEY SAY EVERY END IS A NEW BEGINNING. In the spring of 2007, I was on set for the last day of shooting The O.C. when I got the call. I need to immediately watch an audition for the lead of my new pilot Chuck. The actor who had just read? Zachary Levi.
And so began the most quixotic, satisfying, and, at times, surreal journey of my career. In the fall of 2007, I was lucky enough to have not only Chuck premiere but also another series I had co-created, Gossip Girl. What were the chances given that there are seven days in a week, that both shows would air against each other? They did, and my parents upgraded to a dual DVR.
As momentum for Chuck’s first season started to build, the writer’s strike hit. We didn’t know if we’d be back. We anxiously waited almost a year to return. As season 2 came to an end, we learned that NBC was going to air The Jay Leno Show five nights a week in prime time, eliminating five hours of time slots. Once again our future was in jeopardy. We may not have been a breakout hit, but we had a passionate fan base, and when NBC released its preliminary fall schedule in 2009 and Chuck wasn’t on it, those fans mobilized.
This wasn’t just a letter writing campaign but something that involved a new weapon in a fan’s crusade to save a show: mayonnaise. We had done some not so subtle product integrations promoting Subway sandwiches (which are delicious!). So our fans hit Subway shops around the world, ordering tens of thousands of foot-long turkeys. This garnered attention on a national level. NBC took note. With a mixture of pride and awe I can tell you: Chuck was saved by sandwiches. And by the the greatest, most passionate fans in the universe.
What kept Chuck from being a runaway hit was the same thing that made those who loved it so committed: a mash-up of genres–from spy to sci-fi to romantic comedy–with a heart devoted to its characters and a soul steeped in 1980s summer-movie geek culture. Well, ’80s everything.
Co-creator Chris Fedak and I used to marvel if the 13-year-old versions of us could see the show we were making, we’d lose our minds. It was our adolescent love of Quantum Leap that led us to pursue Scott Bakula for the role of Chuck’s dad. Knowing our precarious ratings situation, Scott advised: “Keep your head down, keep making the show. Next thing you know, it’s five years later. That’s how we did it on Quantum Leap.”
Casting actors we grew up loving didn’t end there. We were unabashed in our geekdom. Doc Brown’s Christopher Lloyd playing a member of the medical profession so Chuck could call the Back to the Future star “Doc”? Check. A huge influence on Chuck was Fletch, so it was an honor to have Chevy Chase play one of our best bad guys.  Of course, there would be no Chuck without James Bond. The first Bond movie I was old enough to see in theaters? The Living Daylights. So imagine the pulse-pounding excitement we felt when Timothy Dalton signed on for a season. And who else could have played Chuck’s mom than the female icon of summer movies of yore, The Terminator’s Linda Hamilton? The list goes on, and we knew our fans would be as excited about all this as we were.
Now thanks to NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt, we get to say a proper farewell to those fans with our Jan. 27 series finale. And with every end comes a new beginning. On the last day of shooting Chuck, my daughter was born. That gives you persecutive. My hope is one day some kid who grew up watching our show will have a show of their own, and that kid will hire one of our talented actors to appear. Then that actor can advice that kid, “Keep your head down, keep making the show. Next thing you know, it’s five years later. That’s how we did on Chuck.”
And that was Josh Schwartz, on his lookback for the past five seasons of Chuck! Which reminds us how lucky we are to stand together, and doing something great... who could have thought sandwich will play much impact on deciding the fate of this nerd-friendly-show, or was it a peaceful protest against Nielsen system, or was it maximizing the effect of Twitter to the point we spread our voice to the world, and invite them to join this community? No, I did not anticipate of this either... so, what I'm asking you tonight is: sitback... and enjoy the ride tonight. Show them Chucksters are not some types of fans who comes & go, we're here to stay... and spread the nerdolution!

So... what's on the screen tonight?... Things are pressure in, and our Sarah Walker happened to possesed the Intersect... Which might I horribly add, happens to be the same Intersect which puts Morgan into a technical life-ruining-phase! And it's up to Chuck and the team to save & sort this mess... not to give a kick in the arse to our good 'ol Nicholas Quinn! So let's take a look with the synopsis and some spoiling secrets... not to mention a sneak peek to prepare you for what could have happen tonight!?!

A MISSION ABOARD A JAPANESE BULLET TRAIN SPIRALS OUT OF CONTROL, PUTTING THOSE CLOSEST TO CARMICHAEL INDUSTRIES IN DANGER – ANGUS MACFADYEN GUEST STARS — When a mission in Japan becomes a hostage situation, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and Chuck (Zachary Levi) must face the merciless Nicholas Quinn (guest star Angus Macfadyen, “Braveheart”) aboard a speeding Japanese bullet train. Meanwhile, the mission leaves Casey with an impossible decision. Joshua Gomez, Sarah Lancaster, Ryan McPartlin, Scott Krinsky, Vik Sahay and Mark Christopher Lawrence.
And to whet a bit appetite, let's see what TV Line teases us here!

“We were all feeling a great big bag of emotions heading into this season, knowing it would be our last, and it’s only gotten worse – there’s real mourning oging on here,” says star Zachary Levi in between takes of a blazing gun battle on the backlot at Universal Studios. His character, computer geek-turned-spy Chuck Bartowski, and wife Sarah have racked the show’s final big baddie, Nicholas Quinn, to the local Weinerlicious in Berlin.
It doesn’t help that the finale itself is packed with trauma and heartache. “It involves the very breakdown of the Chuck and Sarah relationship,” reveals Strahovski. “It’s just awful because they’ve become such a fun, loving, ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’-type couple. The last episode very much asks: Will they or won’t they make it?”
Surely the writers wont’ tick off the fans by ending things with a Bartowski bust-up..uh, would they? “It’s not our intent to have the audience coming after us with pitchforks and torches,” says executive producer Chris Fedak. “But we wanted a finale that was perilous and scary, and not just in a spy-mission sort of way. Everything Chuck has achieved in the last five seasons will be in jeopardy. There is much more to worry about in the last two episodes than whether or not everyone makes it out alive.”
And Ausiello brings you some hot scoop for Chuck tonight... I'm sorry for posting a bit late by seventy two hours... :P

Question: There will be a huge hole in my life after Chuck ends on January 27. Any last bit of final season spoilers out there? —Chuck
Ausiello: Zachary Levi breaks down the two-hour swan song thusly: “The first hour is super-intense drama and action and some tears are shed. And the second half also has some drama, but there’s a lot of comedy, too.”

And some good photos for tonight's Chuck... get ready for guns... and bullets... and then more twists!

And finally... actions always speak louder than words: the sneak peek for tonight's Chuck! *excite mode*

Which brought us to the end of the recap tonight... reviews of tonight's episode coming out tomorrow, and no; not only that! But I will be publishing special entry for Chuck countdown for the next seven days! *choking up* So try to enjoy... despite the end closing in, and cherish all the good moments! And remember:

"Dog Days Are Over!!!"

And final words before we parted out, the video summing up Chuck stars discussing about the finale, brought to you by chucktv.net!

And Adam Baldwin talks the nerd fandom of Chuck & Firefly! Have fun for Chuck tonight guys!

Before “Firefly,” Baldwin was not as familiar to sci-fi/fantasy genre fans, though he had done a few episodes of “The X-Files.” But once the buzz built around Whedon’s sci-fi Western and he hit the convention scene, Baldwin was an instant hit.
“At first it was very surprising. People said, ‘oh, geeks, they’re so weird,’ and this and that. All these preconceived notions and judging people by their exteriors as opposed to the content of their character. I like to focus on that, and always give people time to say their piece,” he said.
“I love hearing people’s stories. I ran into a guy who, for all outward appearances, was just a nerd at a convention, but it turns out he works on geothermal imaging on offshore drilling platforms, and he told me all about a fire he was in and how dangerous the rigs are and the risk/reward factors. I love meeting people like that. Once they get past that initial ‘oh, my God, I’m meeting Jayne Cobb,’ I say, ‘it’s OK. Who are you? Where are you from? Tell me a story.’ It’s been a very loving and welcoming community for all of us. And I was very glad to be there from ‘Firefly’ all the way through ‘Chuck.’ It’s been a great experience for me.”

Chuck versus Bo review- "Never say one last mission."

"Never say one last mission"

Like Chuck, Morgan & Casey has said that unanimously, one of those rare moments when three of them actually agree on something- ultimately, proof to be real. After last week's episode featuring Carrie-Anne Moss in Chuck versus The Kept Man... even though the episode wasn't really strong as I would have thought- but this week's episode. The episode has proof to be an excellent redeeming ground for Chuck again. As I would wanna put it this way: "All the good old days, reborn once again- in the form of Chuck versus Bo!"

For the record to be honest, I hardly know the name of Bo Derek until her name pops out as a guest star for this episode! And as a preliminary measure, because somehow: she must have been a cult figure, it is important for me to learn about her as much as I can. As a result, dear readers, I decide to scroll down for some of the clips of her on YouTube, coupled with reading her article in Wikipedia & clicking some of those source in the 'source' heading. All of them which would have contribute to my deduction that why it is the right thing for the producers to chose her for the role! For some of you who hardly knows her ad I am, Bo Derek is obviously a star... But here's something interesting about her: she was regarded somehow as a... "sex symbol after her role in the late seventies hit comedy: "10"... After those quick, preliminary studies, I can easily understand why the producers chose her for the job! If you want a seducer, plenty of stars could fits one of those roles... but IF you want the episode to be kinda like a cult legend: you gotta go deeper, and that's where I completely understand why Bo Derek name must have sticked into the producers head! So in order to create something big, you need something big... and as you know: Chuck always gives you one of the best nerd reference one show can give you! And actually use those references to actually construct an interesting & self immerse story! Chuck was that kind of a show, and I'm happy Bo Derek happen to be part of it, despite the sad fact I never get to watched '10'. But her performance has been interesting, the producers chose her to be am excellent setting to set up the test of the plot, how they used her to connect all the leftover stories about 'Morgan's physical... rainbow'! She proves to be good when communicating with the viewers, for to be honest: most would have feel awkward (like me), when confronted with such stars & you have no idea who the heck that person involves with... But luckily... action proves to speak louder than words: her performance soon allows every viewer to understand what her position is! And yes, she is a really a nice guest star like when Stan Lee guess star the episode in Chuck versus the Santa Suit! It was similar, you don't need to know who that person is, that person instead connects you! So way to go, Miss Bo Derek!

And of course, dear readers: this episode has been to be honest, what I would like to call: a perfect combination of Charah's relationship & their future, Casey & Morgan's place after the 'one last mission', and inevitably: what Sarah has in mind for the future of Carmichael Industries itself! So, this week's episode has been dealt with two major issues, moving on, and in the end: finish up the past. It was quite a stunning revelation... the one so early, but excite & filled with (a little) doubt when Sarah declared in the morning: "I wanna quit spying", and how she has a plan in mind for the future, for themselves... and for everyone- but one, John Casey! And things get even tense when the episode brought in another surprise: "Frosted Tips Affair pasts", and not only in terms of spy life, but in the end- that VERY life of Morgan Grimes himself! When Morgan is struggling to face past that his beloved Alex may have uh... "physical rainbow" with someone's else. Which makes the episode... instead of what it should have been two continuing plot- makes it three! Fitting Morgan Grimes stories & squeezing them right into that story of 'Frosted Tips past'! I do, originally envision the episode of being Morgan's one, after we apparently have the episode of Sarah in the eighth run & Casey's in the ninth run of the season, the tenth must be about Morgan. Much to my thought, the producers had entirely redefined the whole episode into something new. And to be honest, I like that, making the episode not only Morgan Grimes episode, but TAKING it to the next level! I mean, who would have thought the third plot (even little) would have played & blended together in the episode! As the search for BD have led Team Bartowski to the infamous Bo Derek! It became apparent that she was indeed: with an accomplice. A certain Nicholas Quinn, who later revealed within the words of Bo Derek (O_O) through Chuck & Morgan: a certain man who operates a spy agency... and some of his client- happens to be all those life-long-hatred nemesis to Chuck! Which establishes the fact than Quinn agency have been involve & meddling with all those 'Chuck's friend'... who have developed an grudgingly hatred towards our nerd hero! And another point I wanna praise was the use of flashbacks again! It was the right move, and definitely a right choice to do: because one of the things I have always fallen with Chuck was how they technically stick to the philosophy of "action speaks louder than words". One that evolves to become a flashback, which ultimately happens to benefit because, through acting- it was undoubtedly better to relay informations... especially of those does happens to involve Morgan Grimes... and Bo Derek!

Which brought us to the point of our final villain of the season... and sadly: the whole series, a certain Nicholas Quinn whose actor role was somehow from Braveheart! Although his appearance was already a bit late when he shows up. He quickly established quite a good impression for me (and hopefully you). A man of greed whose greed happens to be he supercomputer which fills with amazing abilities & government secrets... Yes, you came the right way: this Quinn was looking for the Intersect... the ones Chuck have possessed for four years. His character was not really implicate to understand, the man has a motivate right in front of us: he wants the Intersect! But this is the part I love... it's about the acting that matter, the character of Quinn, he was broken, greed, and most important of all: intimidating! The man managed to project that personality of a hideous villain, who will use any means necessary to achieve one thing. And Quinn happens to be one of those person, with his intimidated personality... I'm quite confident he will be one heck of a villain to take down in the end! Like Chevy Chase in season two, or the wooden one like... Brandon Routh in season there, up to Timothy Dalton in fourth season, I'm happy that Nicholas Quinn happens to have that personality himself... So, Quinn wherever you are: you're going to be one heck of a villain to take down I guess!

Which brings me to the final part of this review, the role of Jeffsters for all of this... some may have dismissed their role as being 'childlish'... or both of them may have pass their prime year of being the series comic relief themselves. But for me, they're still those two that makes me laugh, those two that can surely make me wept out in sadness of we were ever to lose both of them. And this week, I appreciate the producers of integrating them into more active role & to have them participate in what could be- glimpse of Charah's spy world. Even though to be honest, I do initially have doubts about how they would performed. But the producers have managed to erase such though out of me! It was nice of dealing with 'irony situation', with each time they're following Chuck's lead and obtained a clue about them. Only in the end to realize, spy world isn't really such a nice place to join! The plot wasn't really bad at all, and even if there maybe some flaws... but what can I say? Enjoy all of them anyway, because after January 27th... I & you- we may have end up wept in sadness! Cherish all the funs & the good memories, and like Chuck said 'let the past be the past'! And remember this quote, because I do find it useful: making is realize there's always something for us to pursue, and never trust something is certain...

"Never say one last mission".

Recaps for Chuck tonight- Guess who's in the show!?!

So... four Chuck episodes left for all of us, dear readers...

It is quite tragic that we moved quite so swift when it comes to the things we fear to lose the most! And somehow, in this tragic story: the show must go on- quite a hard fact for all of us! So sit back... and enjoy the ride #Chuck casts & crew has been hard working for!

And so, what do we have last week? Quite a "romantic" episode for a man like John Casey! The man who never fears anything, survive almost any form of torture & bloodshed only to find himself enlist by his foe-turned-more-than-friend, Gertrude Verbanski! Had to say the episode was quite good for an expectation of  John Casey episode! For it has many critical & potential elements to help built up a nice-romantic episode for our colonel, as the producer offered us another perspective to John Casey's life. It was good to see the producer finally explore Casey's love life once again! After all, our colonel does really deserves a nice girl by him (it has been too much long time since someone declared him: "sugarbear!"). The episode wasn't really fast paced, as it dealt the question regarding "signal"... It became even so crystal clear that Gertrude was in fact: fallen for Casey! But on Casey's thought: he was just afraid of that attachment, fear that Gertrude wasn't really here to stay, and that after all: walls are still strong for a tough grunts like Casey. The episode slowly cracks over the mysterious love life of Casey, by having Gertrude testing out his mind, and as the episode progresses. We see Casey's thought completely mess in doubts, and Chuck & Sarah's  and that was when the producers brought us into the second act of the episode: the decision... Although messing up with his love life: John Casey managed to turned both parts into once again another amazing episode of his lore & for the series! So let's take a look with some of those great moments for Chuck & Sarah, and of course- to the man whom the episode was dedicated for, John Casey.

And of course, CARE will never be the same...

And the episode's surprise twist:

And so, as always: I'd like to remind you this is merely the glimpse of the funs here- take a look back & immerse with the episode anytime, still plenty of hours before new Chuck arrives!

Which brought us to the new episode this week, as we approach the tenth episode of this amazing season...

"Guess who's in the show?"

So, we already have Sarah's episode, Casey's episode... and seems it's the turn of our good 'ol bearded friend: Morgan Grimes with another episode dedicate to him! For "the Frosted Tips affair" wasn't really the end for his yet, we might see him finally remember who Luke Skywalker is, we might see him realising pantsing can brought him to reality, we might able to see him finally reconcile with his beloved Alex... but no, it is far from the end- tonight, Morgan faces his consequences of being Intersect as he enlist the renowned Bo Derek for the mission! So without any interruptions, let's see the synopsis this week & check all the sneak peeks below!

MORGAN FACES THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS TIME AS THE INTERSECT WHEN HE MUST PIECE TOGETHER A LOST WEEKEND IN VAIL — BO DEREK (“10″) AND ANGUS MACFADYEN (“BRAVEHEART”) GUEST STAR — As Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) try to realize a new, safer future, Morgan’s (Joshua Gomez) past as the Intersect sends them to Vail on one last mission, where they enlist the help of an unlikely source — the legendary Bo Derek (as herself). Elsewhere, Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester (Vik Sahay) continue their own spy mission. Adam Baldwin, Sarah Lancaster and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.
And oops, did we just read the wrong- Jeffsters are back for their own spy mission! So without any further due, let's check what the promos and the sneak peeks can hinted more when Bo Derek strikes back on Chuck tonight!

And last but not the least: I'll leave you with the recent Interview of Yvonne Strahovski!

And... I believe that should bring your day at least a bit more happy, enjoy the episode tonight & stay tune for the review tomorrow!
