- Chuck completes it's five year run (although with some doubt going on)... TV shows has been a decent one though, Friday slot is burning with questions regarding how Fringe hits new lows unfortunately... But on the other hand, it wasn't completely that suck, Castle has been announce last night for another season renewed! (Woo Hoo for all the Caskett!)
- Unfortunately... I couldn't say much for the video games industry unfortunately... After almost months of waiting, Mass Effect 3 is truly a critically acclaimed pieced of work! Praising by many critics, and players alike-- until they've found out the ending for the game... And that is where all the shit really takes up the shape! Fans apparently get outraged with the ending, stating that they do not deserve the ending like or something like that... or what they've been saying about how the experience did not fulfill or satisfy the three games adventures of the bald head Shephard... And things get even more tense, when fans decided to raise a petition collecting charity to "encourage" Bioware to change the ending, although Bioware has already confirm they're "interested" in working on a suitable ending but wants to "collect more feedback" from the player. So the war is still going on, and the new question arises... how the heck will Bioware sort out this ending mess, not to mentioned the Day One DLC? And with the industry dividing between those who encourage Bioware to protect their "artistic integrity", and with the fans demanding new changes? This is certainly going to be on the industry headline for a while.
- While in the movie industry, things get certainly shocked when John Carter, supposed to be Disney's grandeur-project apparently did not gross the revenue like Disney has expected. John Carter, based on the pulp fiction about a man who gets transport to Mars & start unleashing anger & going on die-hard-mode has been report of suffering quite a large loss for Disney. In which as the Guardian reports, " Disney's adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' romp recouped a mere $31m of estimated $300m costs in its first weekend". Showing how Hollywood road-to-fame are not exactly going as planned, always. But of course, though with the blockbuster losses, critics slashing & slowly disintegrating the movie down to the roots... Let us not forget there's always a DVD sales, official merchandise, sales to local cables and bla bla bla any corporate method to recouped the investment. So, nope- this is not the end of Disney's movie, Disney movies have failed before... but none just never sent a stress shock like this one... And don't worry, Disney still have ways to suck your wallet dried by the end of the year.
Yup... that is pretty much what's been on my mind for now. Something may gets old, but yeah-- for me, those are the three things that seems to shocked people so far lately in the era of post-Valentine's.
