Chuck versus The Baby review- "I trusting you completely"

"I trusting you completely..."

As like Sarah had trust in Chuck completely, I too do have faith in the producers- after such a great holiday episode last week & the cliffhanger which openly leaves us to the question regarding the matter of this 'baby'! And I am glad & happy to report you, this week's & last episode of the year that it has as a matter of fact: even exceed my personal expectation for the episode!

Well, I had to be honest... well, after the conspiracy was revealed, and 'taken care of'... I was wondering what else could have happen now, what will the show direction be!?! And just before the end of last week episode, I, along with you, dear readers was informed with a shocking revelations... "do you remember Hungary?"? And that was the moment that was quite shocking... I am informed of how the show will be next week, just not how will the show lead! And watching this week's episode, it's a perfect stunning personal episode for Sarah Walker! And of course, after watching the episode, it just complete... and fulfilled with Sarah's backstory- it's as if I don't need more of the past... but what to look forward next!

Of course, what I wanna make clear first was using Sarah as a plot device for the whole episode! Everything & every decision- it's all a part & a chronicle that links back to her... For me: the episode was such a great story of redemptions & settle the old score! Chuck got the chance last week when he had settle the old score with Daniel Shaw, and I'm quite happy that Sarah has got her chance to finally make it right this time! And not only the story do I like, but also how the episode was presented to we, audience using the flashbacks! Schwedak- whatever you're thinking, it works!

Flashbacks is one of the main point I wanna talk about, I had to say it was perfectly crafted this time! We've seem them before in many episodes... but never has it been used creatively this time! It serves not only as a supplement to the story of the episode, but also provides the backstory we've so yearning on Sarah Walker! Not to mention those flashbacks together forms such a plot which eventually connects not just the episode, but also marks the reference to some of the continuity! Such as bringing Tony Todd back, which is a wise choice for me! Considering that we haven't seen him for three years, and that he's as much as important to Sarah as he is a mentor to her- so I congratulate those choice they've made! The flashbacks was a perfect introduction (remember the Matrix Sarah?), or was it revealing the long lost piece of informations on Sarah's life after such a long wait... or was it creating the story that's only just a backstory- but something more, it was more than a simple backstory- it was emotional scenes that strikes all of our heart without even knowing it! Giving Sarah her long lost mom back couldn't been done any better!

Also was the romance & chemistry between Chuck & Sarah this week! I had to say the love between them seems to gets better & stronger every weeks passing! This week's episode kicks off with questions regarding Sarah's past, and how Chuck will deal of that. It was the episode which concerns the question of trust, because like what Sarah had said, it's the way she lives and it's the way she's been taught- not only her dad, but also CIA! So... as much as Chuck is legally her husband... there was this question of trust, and how it would go between them. I am also surprise, and happy of how the producers tin the episode which had been speculated to be a 'relationship-changer' between Chuck and Sarah relationship & turn them into another awesome & special episode yet for this very last season! Because we were all afraid that the baby may have significantly affect their relationship... But however, that turns out to be to produce so many awesome & heart-felt moments for Chuck & Sarah! It was not only about being spy & reclaiming the life they've been yearning... the episode is technically quite a fantastic way to see how Chuck & Sarah will eventually set out to built their life & overcome the obstacles as we've witnessed this week! It was trusting someone, and trusting them to make it right! So I would count that as quite a shocking twist, but a really nice twist: their love just never been this strong- especially when they dorsally have each other!

And #Chuck episode would have certainly turned into some awkward moments if there's not gonna be Morgan Grimes (aka. our bearded friend) in it! But however, his situation was different than his buddy... He's just technically gone through the breakup process between him & the ex-Colonel's daughter, Alex Mchugh! So it has been left as a cliffhanger since the third episode of the season when he had technically break up WITH A TEXT and started being a douche because of the life-ruining-Intersect-meltdown-phase! And as much as Charah, we're all eager to learn more on how will Morgan rebuilt their relationship once again! So, the opening for them wasn't, to be honest: strong as it should be... But I have to say the middle & the nearly very end of the episode was truly satisfied for me! And that partly does comes with the courtesy of the good 'ol the Woodcombs! With Ellie & Awesome joining the episode, it was the right choice to picked them for the episode (because you wouldn't wanna see Jeffster, really!). Since they have even been described by Chuck as 'communication all-stars', so it would have been appropriate for them to help Morgan & Alex all way through all of this! And bringing both of them to talk, it was the best thing to do! And yeah, it was absolutely fantastic moment yet not only just Morgan & Alex & also Ellie & Devon! Plus this time, they save the day! And Morgan & Alex relationship couldn't have been better, so does the kiss in the end! It was worth the moment we've been waiting for, and that is the benefit- of trusting that someone will turn up right!

My final points for the review this week is gonna be the guest star- which I must added, have contribute so much for the episode this week! Giving Sarah a purpose to protect... and to destroy at all cost! So, Kieran Ryker... I had to say he made quite a striking appearance! Tough guy, and like the late Langston Graham had described 'a wildcard'... I had to say his performance was excellent, probably another great guest star for the episode! Adding up themes of dangers & quite a strong villain, a man who would do anything by the cost to get the baby! His character & so does his personality just makes him an absolute villain from Sarah's past ready to strike her again! And if there is something I really like, it was the final fight between Sarah & Ryker- quite possibly the best fights I've seen of Sarah! You feel fear and the atmosphere around you as they fight! It was a priceless moment, not just a fight to disable, but a fight to end someone! Plus Cheryl Ladd, I just realize & so appreciate that the producers had cast her for the role of Sarah's mom! Because as much Yvonne is born for the role of Sarah Walker- it became even apparent & clear even in the flashbacks... this role as Sarah's mom was just for her! She creates that atmosphere of warmth, of all the happy moments... and even for that very glimpse- she had turned person like Sarah Walker into a soft person, into whom she really is! So congratulations for both of the guest stars for making such a great introduction in Chuck this week!

And in the end... with all of the elements combine together! I understand why the producers wants to keep this for the last episode of 2011! Because it makes you realize of every choice you have made, and every choice you'll make! So there you go, what an amazing episodes, the producers had turned this into truly greatest Sarah Walker episode! Thank you, all the Chuck casts, crews & the producers for these hard working five seasons, if there is something I wish you tell you now... it would have been:

"I trusting you completely..."

And of course, I am writing now as of thirty minutes in 2012! To those who have already cross the boundary of new year & those who awaits- I wish you the very best for this coming year, and of course, Viva La Nerdolution!

Happy New Year & new Chuck episodes!

With New Year's approaching just after Christmas, Nerstation here wishes all the best & success for the upcoming years to all you readers of this blog, and of course: to all nerds around the world who had technically inspires me to create such a blog!

And so... after what I had to say was quite a blast from last week, after the 'meddling affairs': of the grinch who technically stole everyone's Christmas, Daniel Shaw... It seems that one epic journey to find who's been responsible for masterminding the whole conspiracy might be over... But of course, this is Chuck we're talking about! There's always something for us to discuss every week... something of us to look forward every week, and most importantly something for the community to share the thoughts! Brace yourself, and enjoy some of the best moments from last episode! And of course, we're just totally love you in a beaten up form, Daniel Shaw!

The wooden one is BACK!

Ughh... Look what the wooden one did to Mrs. Walker!

Never underestimate the power of beard!

Who says CIA doesn't give a second chance!

And of course... the final delight moments... and what I found it to be one of the most thrilling & spectacular moments yet for Chuck! But that was really a highlight from the last episode, Enjoy!

Never underestimate the power of the Nerd Herd!

Push Ups can make you really toughen a lot!

Another warm moment for Charah once again!

And yes... that was last week's episode: Chuck versus The Santa Suit! Now... let's jump fast forward for this week & tonight's episode: Chuck versus The Baby as the story gets more delves into the past of mysterious-yet-awesome wife of Chuck Bartowski, Sarah Walker! So... let's do some points of what to look forward this week:

  • As the name suggest... the episode will deal with the mysterious baby whom is connected to Sarah Walker somehow! But alas, for those who might wondered it could be Sarah's baby... the promo did states that it's not Sarah's baby though... Which eventually puts the episode on quite mysterious light, since there wasn't any spoilers yet... I guess the producer may have decide to save the best for the last!
  • No... that's not the end yet... Sarah Walker will encounter her original handler: Kieran Ryker (Tim Dekay from White Collar), and nope not a word about him! Except, you can be sure his intention to return won't purely be good!
  • And to make you even yearning for more... we'll encounter Sarah's greatest secret: we've seen her papa before, we're gonna see "her" baby, and we're gonna see her original handler! But Sarah Walker's secret just couldn't be complete if there won't be a final revelation: the mother of Sarah Walker! Get ready to meet & greet Emma, the long lost mother of Sarah Walker aka. Cheryl Ladd from "Las Vegas"!
Let's make it even more fun, check out the excerpt for the interview with Zac on "relationship changing of Charah" & the Yvonne's thought for Sarah Walker's tonight:

“I don’t think it really affects their relationship all that much,” Zac told reporters. “One of the things that Chuck’s always done is kind of built something up to be really monumental, but then we sort of begin and end all in one episode, so– and not that there aren’t remnants of that that won’t come back or carry on in their relationship in some ways, but it’s kind of one of those things. It’s big, and it’s cool, and for fans to get that bit of extra more backstory that is revealed in the next episode, but it’s not like relationship-changing or anything.”
“I always love going into a flashback episode. We meet my mother in the show. That was always a big piece of the puzzle for me that I wanted to close in this series. We knew about Sarah’s dad, but I wanted to know, and I’m sure everybody else wanted to know, what happened with Sarah’s mom. It’s beautiful. It’s a good story. I love going back in time, and there’s some flashback stuff in there, too. It really shows the journey. Overall, I’m really happy with the journey that Sarah Walker has had, from the emotionally stunted spy who didn’t know how to express herself, going into somebody who was more emotional and could express that, and then getting into more of the comedy stuff on the show, as she fell into a normal relationship– as normal as you can get with somebody when you’re a spy. It’s been a really nice evolution, said Yvonne.”

So you've seen the details... but of course, actions speaks louder than words! So get ready to immerse more with tonight's promo, promotional pics & of course, some sneak peeks to fill the appetite:

And here's the video:

So there it goes, the final details for now on tonight's episode... and perhaps the GREATEST episode ever of Sarah Walker! Tune in tonight as Sarah confronts his past in Chuck versus The Baby, 8/7C, NBC!

Chuck versus The Santa Suit- "Never underestimate the power of the nerd herd"

"Never underestimate the power of the Nerd Herd..."

I find that quote quite remarkable... After all I feel he wasn't just saying the quote to himself, but that was like a message to all the nerds around the world: never underestimate the nerd! And yes, for those who haven't been watching #Chuck for sometimes because of whatever reasons... grab your faith, cheeseballs & immerse with the episode! Because I'm proudly to say, "Justice has been done"! After episodes and episodes... I just got this feeling that the best is yet to come & episodes after the episodes did they reveal more about piece of the pasts, present & future... I find this episode, quite possible the finest hours of those! Not because the guest stars, the casts, the plot, or the story! It was everything... like the final piece of puzzles finally reveal! So congratulations to everyone, Chuck is officially back! Forget the old times... and prepare to immerse yourself with the new era!

First of all, I love how the producers uses the advantage of Christmas as an excellent plot device! Christmas helps drive, explains, and gives the aspects of what a holiday episodes that it should be! And  I love how they were focusing on every aspects of Christmas- even though the producers wanted to go with Dickens-Christmas, but just when things were about to get too much personal, dark & gritty- the producers chose to use the advantage of all the funs of Christmas festivities has to offered, and pull the episode back to where it was! So that was quite a brilliant advantage you have discovered, Schwedak!

And second thing I wish to point out, I love the episode were all personal... it wasn't just for national security, or the world... it was all about the broken villain, and the nerd... At first, the producers makes us think it's all personal between Chuck & Daniel Shaw, but as we delves more into the episode-  we realize it's all getting personal! Each side has a motivation to bring down each other, and by this case Shaw wishes to use the guns instead... And Chuck determines to put his back to where to where Shaw was suppose to be! You could say this is the final payback, of what was left after season three! I do appreciate that the producers makes the episode all about avenging their justice, because to be honest- after the demise Papa Bartowski...  in many episodes he was only remembered, and that's all it's been discuss! But not this time, it was the same as Chuck versus The Push Mix when Chuck uses Volkoff's affection for his mom & determination to destroy his father helps him locating Volkoff. But I do love this episode because of the fact... it wasn't just only plot device or just a talk to remembered! It was both of them... it's about Chuck avenging for his father, it's about one final showdown to settle everything!

We just love seeing you in a beaten up form!

Another point was really all about how personal it is... how amazing they put everything up! How they mixes each elements... from roaming panic of viruses, Sarah kidnapped, Ellie & Awesome plans for Christmas & the unexpected (and quite very much, unwelcome) presence of Daniel Shaw! This will be what I will be discussing in this week's review!

After all, it is only appropriate to starts with Chuck & Sarah first! For the episode was really about them, about dealing with their past, about settle one last business... and of course, to avenge & take care their love & lost one. As Shaw appears from nowhere, it was pretty much like a test for both of them. How would they react in such a situation when they are separate, and one of them are tempted their own nemesis! And also Chuck's determination to save Sarah and avenge his father's death- he goes out to break into the CIA, kisses with Beckman (*ahem*), and risk himself just to save his wife in the final showdown! You could say there are so much things happening, but what matters in that episode kicks off with questions like: are they still loyal to each other, what's in mind of Chuck? As Shaw begins his plans step by step, and Chuck race against time to save Sarah- you still know the love is still there! I also enjoy Zachary performance this week, in terms of how he express the emotion of fear, love & of course, courage to defeat Shaw in this week episode, and also how Yvonne's performance is so good, I don't know whether they are making Castle freezing or not, and if not- then she really fools our eye! The producer did show other aspect of Charah's romance- by giving an episode where there are a real constant fear, and threat! As the episode goes by, you feel the episode was answering the necessary questions- how they are doing with Shaw in their life again, how will Chuck save his girl, and finally, how to outsmart Shaw! Their love is still there, and that's real solid proof! They are tempted by such a Christmas grinch, and not only do they survive... they manage to give kick his ass quite hard!

"We will never talk about this again..."

What I also love was how they tied all the stories from all other episodes so far in the series into a single plot device, like every decisions, plans & attempts does have an impact in all other episodes! From their first attempt on sending a corrupt Intersect to hiring killers, trying to steal a super-catastrophic-virus, sending more killers... and finally, sending the real player on the field! Everything are all tied, even though at first- "what the heck are they doing now?".... eventually all the stories are instantly piece up! And just then, you just figure why all the decisions all matters! At first, we have no idea what the Omen virus is for... and as the episode progress by (courtesy of those nice Jeffsters), the episode makes a twist by saying the Omen Virus wasn't really for wiping out every database... and combine with what you already saw in the episode- it was clear with what conspiracy should be! And it wansn't just the Omen thing that does tied up the story, it eventually had such an impact in setting up roughly what would be of the episode! With Omen Virus unleashed, it had turn Buy More into a warzones, it also gives the opportunity for the producers to really give all the characters a part of the episode, not just a separate subplot, but to included all the plots together! With Jeffster trying to save the world with a footlong sandwich, Sarah being kidnapped by Shaw, Casey being shot and Chuck & Beckman races to save the day! Yup... It was a priceless moment to see every characters working together (whether they know it or not), and saving the world (and the Christmas) together!

Ever heard how two peoples save the world with footlong?

My final points are on Daniel Shaw performance, he has been quite one of the most unwelcome characters in Chuck so far... And yeah, after what many had considered as a mess after season three... even though how much (I) and we hates him- I still sympathized the producers for selecting Shaw back... to complete & gives the story for Chuck to finally avenge the man who murdered Papa Bartowski, and yes- there is just to no scary creature who steals a Christmas by turning the festivities into a Buy Morian warzones! And of course, Stan Lee's performance as he guest star this season- even though his line was short... but as you know we nerd does LOVES him a lot! His comic are now being recognized worldwide as a gospel to many modern comics these days! And even though I don't know how the producers manage snatch him to set, he was quite awesome not just for him... but for us too, to know that he even has a past with Beckman! Which leads me to conclude this review with just one final phrase that explains why the episode is a triumph for the producers, the cast, we audience, and the whole storyline:

"Never underestimate the power of the nerd herd"

Recap for Chuck tonight: the ghost monster is BACK!

"Ghosts of Christmas past return to haunt Chuck and Sarah when old secrets and threats resurface. Chuck and Sarah discover who’s behind the plot to destroy Carmichael Industries. Meanwhile, Ellie’s plans for a perfect Christmas begin to come apart. At the Buy More,Morgan and the gang must fend off angry customers as a computer virus threatens to ruin Christmas."

As the holiday seasons begins, nerdstation would like to take this opportunity to say Merry Xmas to you all! Have a blast holiday, loads of presents... and of course, Viva La Nerdolution! And as you know, after last week's episode- it became apparent. It wasn't the one-man show that intends to take down our awesome Chuck & Sarah, and their working-on-the-kinks Carmichael Industries! Last week's episode has introduce us to the fact, Chuck Bartowski seems to have mess up with up with a lot of people... And the web of conspiracy begins to reveal episode after episode. So before anything starts: let's take a look with some of those memorable moments from last week Chuck versus The Curse.

"You're not alone"!

"Uh... Oh...!"

"The Bartowski curse ends here, not with me, but with us!"

And of course, that was just a glimpse of  all awesome moments! Not just only Chuck & Sarah... but also brought to you by the... Woodcombs, and our good 'ol General Beckman! So take a moment, grab a cheeseball & take the moment to immerse yourself to prepare for what we got tonight! And let's take a look down with what we have tonight:

"We’ll realize that Decker and his plan has all been manipulated by Daniel Shaw from his [prison] cell,” reveals EP Chris Fedak. “We wanted to do a monster story. We wanted to do a Christmas story. Christmas is such a haunted holiday, like in the Charles Dickens tradition. So when we started thinking about this year’s Christmas story, we thought, ‘Let’s bring back a monster from our past.’ At the end of Season 3, Brandon [Routh] was such a good ‘Mwahaha’ bad guy. I was like, “We gotta bring back the ‘Mwahaha.’” Fedak calls the hour “one of our most crazy, intense” episodes ever, adding, “It’s Daniel Shaw haunting Sarah Walker. Brandon came back, and he was great. He just plays an icy killer like nobody else"

Yes, you heard it right, we know it for two weeks now... The good 'ol smart producers seems to have finally caught their attention when they reveals who's back with "muahaha" for this Xmas episode! Even though how personally hates him (*grabbing a bazooka*), it was the bloody Daniel Shaw unleashed after the Omen virus has spread throughout the world (and the poor Buy More sites...). And as for now... seems the community are only welcoming him for another good kick in the ass, seems it's the time for Chuck Bartowski to extend an awesome, nerdy, and Bartowski courtesy to Daniel Shaw. And even though Shaw's coming back, don't forget another really amazing news: it's Xmas! Which means that we'll have another good last, awesome Christmas... in a Buy Morian Style! Don't forget to tune in tonight, 8/7C, NBC with the final showdown  & the good 'ol Buy Morian Xmas episode in Chuck versus The Santa Suit! Let's take another look down with the official promo & sneak peeks! Chose your side well in this showdown!

Guess who's back this episode!

Family reunion!

This is just getting better!

And so, don't forget ti tune in tonight for Chuck! I'm sure will be a blast Xmas episode, have a blast holiday, enjoy times with your family & friends! Merry Xmas!

Chuck vs. The Curse review & more- "It was a bit like old times... wasn't it?"

"It was a bit like old times... wasn't it?"

Just like Beckman had said, I always admire the decision of the producer  to go back to the roots, back to where it was... but still trying to take it to the next level. After a spectacular come back with Chuck versus The Hack Off, the story just gets darker & more grittier as we follows Carmichael Industries on their quest for cleaning out their names& of course... finding who's behind such a nasty conspiracy that's been plaguing them since the premiere.

The look of a lifetime...

As of over all now, I am quite happy with how the producers are leading us to this point. As you know for all past six episodes of the season, it has been quite a blast! From a friend corrupt by the computer to pantsing him & saving him from his death... Yup, that was awesome!

And right now, as the story just gets more complex as we get closer to the conspiracy... I have always love how the producers been doing this for five years, how they reveal each piece of information's... and tying together forms a series of quest to the final purpose (which always has been an awesome final confrontation) for all these five years. From taking down a rogue agent organization, taking more mysterious organization to redeeming a work-renowned arms dealer! I have love how each episodes had form the dots together, leading us to many possibility, and sometimes surprise us with all the amazing twists! Yes, this is where the search for the truth just gets even better!

Chuck versus The Curse just kicks off this week with one single question... repeatedly ask throughout the episode, "Is the Bartowski Curse really exists?"... as you know, Chuck Bartowski we all know is a man who always stands up for the ones he cared... dearly I must added. The episode plays with this question by introducing a series of chain events, making Chuck raising a doubt whether he was going to transform into his father or not. It was such a great idea, and I believe the producers had once again demonstrate what they're capable with.

The episode kicks off quite... Chucktastic, after the recaps & what seems to finally settle itself once again as the team would prepare for their next adventure. Beckman intervenes, although this time a bit more hostile than last time she was saw on screen! It was quite a strong surprise, because the audience, like Chuck did- were pointing to Beckman as their last refuge for assistance in times like this. And as we thought... where the heck is "Beckman is all of this?", POPS! She comes out from nowhere, declaring the team to be traitor, much to amaze of we, audience- Casey points out that she was secretly trying to help them and woops! Things just gets a bit hotter than ever! Personally, I thought that was the best opening for the episode, they've been chased before. But this is a hunt we're talking about, way to Schwedak!

Another point I wish to point out is Chuck & Sarah marriage, as you know last week was truly a golden moments for Chuck & Sarah as they get together & take down all the bad guys... But nope, this episode dealt with something entirely different! Last week was a clear, open threat- something which happens to be the field of expertise for these two amazing spy couples. But this episode puts them in a very different & complex scenario . It's not just stripping and taking down some strange cultist.

This is what we've been seeing for years, and finally they have been put into an ultimate use. Finally, the producer has given us an episode which are dark, gritty & puts them in a very complicate situation. It wasn't dull, neither nor predictable (unless you read the spoiler that is...) It was something we've been seeing for years, a shadow threats of a group either plans to operate without the meddling eyes of Team Bartowski, or a rogue splinter organization jealous of government having a super computer in his head. The producer gave us the feeling that what we've- Team Bartowski been dealing with wasn't just a group of some bad guys. It was a whole new broad perspective, the producer puts Chuck & Sarah right in front of such a new, complex, and corruptible force. I love the idea of a threat that wasn't really open to the eyes, a threat that really comes from the top, a threat that was a product of a conspiracy within the government itself, and finally a threat neither we, audience or Team Bartowski could see... The episode is somewhat what I've been waiting for. The scenario that puts Chuck & Sarah in a constant feeling of doubts & fear, and not just only Charah but the best like Casey & Beckman... And as the story goes by, we were all thrilled of the result of how it would sort itself out amongst those mess!

I also love how the episode wasn't fast paced, since it deals with doubts I love how the producers lets the story flows naturally... As if the producers were merely giving them a scenario & what we've watch next is a chain reactions of choices & decisions. From remaining on the lam at Chuck's father cabin to the-not-so-much-bargain to save Ellie & Awesome. It was truly enjoyable episode where time has no mean of intervention. For me, let's put it this way: it was a forty three minutes that doesn't look like forty three minutes! It was quite fulfill, despite us eager to wait for more next week...

The hunt... of the family!

But of course, it wouldn't have been a Chuck episode without all the amazing supporting characters who together helps form a single, enjoyable... and like Captain Awesome always remarked: awesome, episode! This episode marks for a golden comeback to the screen of the Woodcombs, because after all I honestly thought the characters role in Chuck's story was getting limited to merely comic relief, after it seems to be a more & more rare chance to see Awesome & Ellie characters together. It was nice to see them not just sitting at home talking to Clara, it wasn't that I didn't Clara, but that those two characters are so nice... and awesome than just have them rot in a living room. This episode has been really kinda bringing the feeling of season one once again, of the life of Chuck, Sarah and also the not-yet-Woodcombs then.  And yes, like Chuck had once remarked: "they're like communication all-stars", it was truly a great pleasure to have them back not just the two ordinary family members. But putting them into a field & let them enjoy the night as a communication all stars, like what they're used to be. And yes, putting them into actions... the spy just really runs in the blood of the Bartowski's!

“Morgan’s going to be desperate to try to get Alex back, but it’s not an easy thing,” says series cocreator Chris Fedak. After all, “He broke up [with her] on a text [message]. He turned into a douche.”- Joshua Schwartz

Like Josh Schwartz had remarked- the second point was the romance of our bearded friend, Morgan Grimes... and Casey's protective daughter, Alex McHugh. It was all Morgan trying to win the heart of Alex back, after what was... the frosted tips affair! And to be honest, we just can't blame Alex, Morgan was really a douche back then. And even though as thing was just trying to go back in the same place, what it was heartbreaking was Morgan & Alex did not in this case. Which presents quite a cliffhanger during the episode in Business Trip on whether that just mark an end of a love affair for our bearded or not... However, this week's episode had given them a chance-- for them which had given Morgan a second chance to fix all the frosted tips mess from a couple episodes ago. And yes, even I also really hope there would a good kiss in the end, but even though there wasn't one. But we call all see right in both of their eyes, the same way Chuck and Sarah look, the same way Casey & Verbanski look... you could say that was a look of a lifetime for them. And I am quite happy, and of course also impressed that they were given Morgan & Alex a second chance for them to fall in love once again, and to be honest as we see them throughout the episode and how they react... you just know the love's still there for them, whether is how Alex comes up with a (less dangerous) plan to the final scene where Morgan entrust Alex with his "P.A.N.T.S". That, just answers everything...

My final point is on the guest star this week, Rebecca Romijn- aka. Mystique in X-Men film series, or Alexis Meade from ugly Betty. I had to say, despite her beyotch performance present in the episode- that she was worth every cent the network had to paid. Even though we're all awaiting for you-know-who next week rather than just a villain this episode, it works out. She proves to be another competent and excellent choice on the guest star! She is presents as a ruthless * cunning operative who- saw torture as a artform along with what she calls... a "toy". Her performance should not be underestimate as she creates another personality of a cruel underling who has a now idea on her superior. Well done, Rebecca!

And yup, to the end of this review, even though some may have thought it may have gotten dark or more gritty than ever as the producers puts them in a fear & doubts episode. In the end... it was a brilliant combination of doubts, actions, romance & pure awesome sauce. I'll leave you with the ending... because action just speaks louder than words. Enjoy!

And in the end, like Beckman had remarked: "It was a bit like old times... wasn't it?"...

Let's take a look on all these pictures, and facts brought by Suwannee Wilhelm (@SDub07) for the collection of the memorable pictures--> (some of you may have saw it, but well, guess you're lucky then :P)

Recaps for Chuck tonight, six now... seven more to go...

One such agent is the cold and calculating Robin Cunnings (Rebecca Romijn), who is "known for her barbaric (yet highly effective) interrogation techniques."
